Wedding Venue Booked in Spain? Your Next 5 Steps

Already booked your wedding venue in Spain for 2027 or 2028? Your next step is to connect your confirmed bookings, remaining decisions, and wedding-day responsibilities in one working plan. If you are arranging everything from the USA or abroad, decide what you will manage yourselves and what a local team will take over.
Your venue and key suppliers are confirmed, but you would like help completing the remaining plans? Casamiga’s Gold Collection combines agreed unfinished planning with management of your main wedding day, from €6,950 + VAT. Venue and supplier costs are separate.
1. Put every booking in one clear overview
Start with three lists: confirmed, awaiting confirmation, and still to arrange.
For each venue or supplier, record the agreed service, contact person, next decision, and relevant deadline. Keep proposals and confirmations together so you can see what has actually been arranged.
Ask each supplier: “What is the next decision you need from us, and when do you need it?” Their answers will help you put the remaining work in order.

2. Calculate the budget still available for your main day
Record the full agreed cost of existing bookings, including balances still to pay. Then add allowances for services you still need to arrange, your planning fee, and applicable VAT.
The deposit you've already paid is only part of that booking's cost. Check the remaining balance before deciding what you can spend elsewhere.
Keep welcome celebrations and farewell gatherings in separate event budgets. For a consistent explanation of planning fees and wedding expenditure, see our wedding services and prices.
3. Give each remaining task a named owner
Before making more bookings, agree who will handle:
Outstanding supplier selection and follow-up.
Design decisions, rentals and setup requirements.
Guest information and group transport arrangements.
The shared wedding-day timeline.
Supplier questions and operational changes on the day.
Check what your venue team has agreed to manage, then identify any responsibilities still unassigned. Venue arrangements vary; a conversation about responsibilities is more useful than assuming every coordinator provides the same coverage.
For example, once flowers are booked, check who approves the table layout, who installs the arrangements, and who collects the rentals. One confirmed booking can still leave several tasks open.
4. Connect guest plans to the venue schedule
Before sharing detailed travel information, check where guests are likely to stay, how they will reach the venue, and how they will return after the celebration.
Match those movements to the ceremony, meal, and party arrangements. If you are hosting another event, allow for different arrival and departure plans rather than assuming everyone can attend everything.
Use our guest transport and accommodation checklist for the detailed logistics questions.
5. Decide what you want to hand over
Write down the decisions you want to keep and the work you would like a planner to take over. Be specific: completing supplier bookings, bringing existing styling choices together, confirming logistics, or managing the main wedding day.
Gold is designed for a booked venue and confirmed key suppliers. We agree the remaining work, responsibilities and wedding-day coverage in your proposal. On-site management of your main wedding day is included within that agreed scope.
Full venue sourcing, a new bespoke design project and a wedding website are outside the standard Gold scope. Additional celebrations are quoted separately.
If only the venue is booked and you still need most of the planning and a bespoke design, discuss Platinum Full Wedding Planning. If your plans are complete, explore Silver Wedding Day Coordination for the final handover instead.
